Functional Safety Engineer

Join us to provide comprehensive support for various departments during a complete lifecycle in safety relevant functions (including Engineering, Quality Assurance and Production).
RESPONSIBILITIES
> Creation of hazard analyses and risk assessments > Development of reports and safety concepts with respect to ISO 26262 > Testing and Validation in relation to functional safety requirements > Definition and monitoring of Development Interface Agreement (DIA) as well as analysis of safety relevant components like FTA, FMEA or DFA > Optimization of critical requirements, support in homologation process and consultancy on functional requirements
REQUIREMENTS
> University degree in Functional Safety Engineering, RAMS or similar > Background in Functional Safety, Automotive Safety Integrity Level, Project Management or Software Quality Assurance > Experience with Jira and Confluence > Expertise in ISO 26262 and analysis methods like FTA, FMEA, effective chain analysis or similar > Familiarity with ISO 21434, ISO 21448, IEC 61508 is a plus/ highly desirable > Fluency in German and in English
