We are seeking a Development Engineer in Automation with the motivation to address complex tasks and technical challenges for an international customer in the field of semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

› Develop the control technology for measuring machines in the field of semiconductor manufacturing › Create and evaluate requirement and functional specifications for the control software (PLC) › Develop software designs, define interfaces and work out safety concepts › Define technical specifications and framework conditions for internal and external development partners, create work packages and supervise their implementation › Evaluate the delivered work content (PLC control software) from the supplier and, if necessary, further develop it yourself › Create software test specifications, test protocols and modules tests

REQUIREMENTS

› Graduation in the field of control engineering/automation technology, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or related fields - Master's degree is beneficial › Fluency in German (C1) and fluent spoken and written English › Knowledge of PLC programming, mainly for Siemens devices (2y+) and TIA Portal › Knowledge of agile development, mainly SCRUM › Desirable knowledge of Python › Desirable knowledge of safety programming and HMI development
