Senior AWS Cloud Developer

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer who wants to strengthen our software development and industrial automation team creating completely new degrees of freedom beyond proprietary industrial automation systems for the automated configuration, operation, maintenance and continuous change of production plants. Our customer is closing the communication gap between IT and OT and develops an enabler for AI based self-optimizing production plants and the next technological leap in productivity for the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

> You take full responsibility to develop new, cloud-based microservices and features based on latest methodologies > You work with AWS architects and cloud engineers to find efficient solutions for automation requirements in a B2B SaaS application > You break down designs and product goals into small, testable, and shippable components > You continuously deploy frontend features while considering different backend lifetimes and versions > You build and maintin tools and processes to support the infrastructure as well as a resilience monitoring system for our cloud infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS

> You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with strong information technology focus > You have 4+ years of experience in designing, building, refactoring and/or operating large scale, production-grade software stacks in AWS, including AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB) or similar cloud services > You have professional experience programming in Python, other similar object oriented-languages such as C++/C#/Java/Go/Swift/.Net/Ruby are a plus > You possess excellent understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes) as well as Cloud IT security practices > You are have curiosity and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and ability to deal with ambiguity > You are fluent in English
