Project Engineer Navigation Functions for E-Mobility

To realize battery-based electrified driving some basic conditions in modern cars are changing and also affects the users’ habits and behaviour. Topics like range, charging management or parking restrictions - just to name a few – will fundamentally change. This transition in mobility is in full swing and a fundamental parameter of automotive user experience, besides new in-car features, infrastructure and legislative developments influences the dynamics of the development. Join our team of specialists to bridge the gap between infrastructure and onboard to realize smart functions to push navigation as an enabler for e-Mobility!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You tackle upcoming challenges when driving an electric car in context of well known navigation functions like route calculation, range estimation or parking • You re-think driving experience and mobility • You make sure to proof users’ confidence in technology transmission and connected intelligent systems by creating reliable experiences • You create requirements for e-mobility related navigation functions • You define, control & contribute to testing activities to ensure integration in the complete system • You support dev teams with analyzing reported software bugs

REQUIREMENTS

• You have a completed technical degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, geomatics, geodesy, cartography or comparable education with corresponding experience • You ideally already gained initial experience in navigation or location based/connected functions • You have routine in creating technical requirements and basics of project management • You are an analytical thinker with the willingness to work in an agile environment • You are fluent German and English
