Senior Lead Automation Architect

We are seeking a Senior Lead Automation Architect with the motivation to address complex tasks and technical challenges for an international customer in the field of semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

› Develop automation for highly complex production and measurement processes and enable the efficient production and qualification of optical components for semiconductor production › Responsible for the development of systems as automation architect from electrical design to control technology in accordance with the European directives MRL 2006/42/EC, low-voltage guideline line 2014/35/EU and application of harmonized standards › Lead a team as a technical expert supporting and advising the development teams during implementation to ensure correct implementation. › Make design decisions and find solutions that affect the long-term IT strategy and target architecture. › Carry out architecture reviews, defining standards and procedures. › Represent IT architecture in technical committees

REQUIREMENTS

› Graduation in the field of control engineering/automation technology, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or an equivalent degree. Master’s degree is beneficial › Fluent spoken and written English and intermediate German mandatory › Availability for relocation to Germany in short period › Expertise in the development and project planning of system architectures and the implementation of IT and automation solutions › In-depth knowledge of network technologies, security concepts and the development of control and automation technology as well as software projects (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal) › Experience in the design, specification and implementation of machine controls, development of control components and integration › Knowledge in the field of programming and diagnosis of drive systems and the system design of hardware components (e.B. SINAMIC, SIMOTION or SINUMERIK) › Ideally knowledge of Polarion and Enterprise Architect › Experience in requirements analysis and agile project management
